These terms cover buying a Mimeo license at account.mimeohq.com and running the software it gives you. Buying a license means you agree to them.
What a license covers
A Mimeo license lets you install and run one installation of Mimeo: one Mimeo on one domain, with one list.
- That installation can send from several domains and split brands with segments.
- Fully separate brands, businesses, lists or clients, each on its own domain with its own Mimeo Manager repo, each need their own license at full price.
- Staging copies are free.
- You register your installation's domain in your Mimeo account dashboard before downloading, and you can change it later.
- The license comes with the Mimeo Manager repo and unlimited team members.
Price and payment
The license costs $499, paid once, in US dollars, with a year of support & updates included. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Support & updates and renewal
Support & updates cover new Mimeo versions and help from us by email.
- After the first year, support & updates renew automatically at $199 a year, charged to the card on file.
- You can cancel auto-renewal anytime on the Billing page of your Mimeo account dashboard.
- If you cancel, Mimeo keeps working, and you keep every version released while you were covered.
Refunds
The license comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. To ask for a refund, email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase. The refund goes back to the card you paid with.
Setup & Launch
Setup & Launch is a separate flat-fee project in which we set Mimeo up for you: $999, or $1,399 bundled with the license. It's arranged by email, and its scope is agreed before it starts.
Running your Mimeo
You run Mimeo on your own server and send through your own sending provider account.
- You're responsible for your server, your provider account and the email you send.
- Mimeo is designed for opt-in lists, where people signed up to hear from you. Don't use it for cold outreach or for email that breaks the law or your provider's rules.
- Your data stays yours, in your own database.
The software
Mimeo is provided as is. We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will be free of errors or fit every use. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid for your license and support & updates in the 12 months before a claim.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. Changes don't reduce what you already paid for.
