Mimeo collects as little as it can. This site counts visits without cookies or personal data, and your Mimeo account dashboard keeps what it needs to sell, license and support Mimeo. The email software you run, and everyone on your list, stays on your own server.
Your own Mimeo
Your Mimeo runs on your server and keeps its data in your database: your subscribers, their activity, your emails and your sending history. We don't host it, can't see into it, and it sends nothing back to us. Your sending provider (Postmark or Resend) handles the email it delivers under its own terms.

This site has no sign-up forms and sets no cookies.
- Analytics: Plausible counts page views and clicks on Buy now without cookies and without storing personal data or IP addresses.
- Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your own browser only.
- Hosting: the site is served by Cloudflare.
Your Mimeo account dashboard
When you buy Mimeo, you create an account at account.mimeohq.com. It keeps:
- Your account: your email address, a hashed password, your timezone, and the email addresses of teammates you invite.
- Your license: its status, its renewal dates and the domain you register for your installation.
- Billing: your purchases, renewals and refunds, and the billing details on your invoices. Card payments are handled by Stripe; your card number never reaches us.
- Sign-ins: the IP address and browser of each signed-in session, to keep your account secure.
- Support: the messages you send from the Support page, which reach us by email.
It uses a sign-in cookie, which it needs to work, and Plausible analytics without cookies. Emails about your account, such as your welcome email, receipts and renewal notices, are sent through Resend. Downloads are served from Cloudflare.
We also keep our own customer records in our own Mimeo: your email address, your license's status and domain, and your purchases, renewals and refunds, so we can manage your license and email you about it.

We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else for their own use.
Seeing, changing or deleting your data
Email [email protected] to get a copy of your data, correct it or delete your account. We keep payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
